Yesterday marked a Sicilian Holiday, celebrating their Liberation. We headed into town for some amazing Pistachio and Chocolate gelato. Everyone was out, the Bar’s (coffee shops) had every seat filled. So we took our gelato cones and walked towards the edge of town by the 15th century Arogonese Castle. The scooters zipping by were louder than the street music. (Oh how badly I want a scooter!) I didn’t bring my camera being that I wanted to be a regular in our new Village before snapping a bunch of pictures like a tourist.
