When Marilyn Monroe was asked what she wore to bed she responded, “Chanel No. 5”
Imagine that question being asked to you. How would you respond? Our bedroom, always a work in progress, is an intimate retreat filled with luxuries of our favorite linens, scents and adorned trinkets. For some, their bedrooms lay a stark mattress, dusty bedside tables and un-embellished charm. To most, the bedroom unveils its sole purpose of just a good nights rest by its evident necessities, important to ones tranquility and not by needs for indulgent design.
Our bedroom surrounds us for a peaceful days or evenings sleep. I’m no Marilyn but Murphy is, naked without the Chanel No. 5. What do I wear to bed?
Anything I want to.
Oh, Murphy is adorable!!! Pugs rule 🙂
I choose Murphy…
What a cutie pug!
Thank you! He’s the best fur child!

I love Marilyn! I was just reading her Bio this week. She epitomizes female. Your bedroom is serene and beautiful; your dog is adorable. Sweet dreams!
Though all women are beautiful – they can’t help it, it’s the way God made them – I have never really ‘gotten’ the allure of Marilyn.
We don’t dare let our dog on the bed, mostly because of ticks. I don’t even know if they have them on the island.
I guess the only things important to us are (1)clean, and (2)cool. OH!! And each other! 😀
Rock On over there 🙂
I felt Marilyn had stage presence. Murphy isn’t usually allowed on the bed and thought I’d be brilliant to compare the two as a spoof. Should of wrapped him in a sheet….
Appreciated your answer…:)
