Emmaus Hotel located not far from the high crater of the Mt Etna volcano, the loved and hated Muntagna, with its spectacular eruptions, the natural avenues of the Etna park, the woods, the wild landscape of the height of the mount and the little villages of Etna below. Views from the hotel include the Ionian coast or the mounted woods of chestnuts and groves leading through 14 stations of religious monuments. Sit on one of the many mossy green benches and take in the private beauty of this easy up and down trailed park. Obvious a very quiet time to visit the hotel as the amenities and attendants scarce at the cafe/bar lounge. Nonetheless the views were spectacular, breakfast buffet typical of the Sicilian-Italian pastry buffet and the 4 course meals of lunch and dining were fair. The restaurant staff very attentive and front desk reception welcoming. Our retreat filled us with new experiences, enlightening moments and new acquaintances.
