Garden of the gods

Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since I blogged; only because I had a mini vacation in Colorado. I experienced snow, rain, wind and heat all within one week! My instagram account @Jenimenew proves April snows. Anyways, as the weeks weather improved we managed a trip to Garden of the gods, red rocked and tucked tall far enough away from the tiring hay colored plains of Colorado Springs. This amazing geological National Park spanned breathtaking views of the Pikes Peak, snow capped and in command of the land. Winding trails wrap through this 480 acre offering hikers, rock climbers and horse riders to share in the preserved wonders and animal formations carved out sandstone, conglomerates and limestone by a Native American civilization……

Hey you! I had a pair of thick wool socks for extra comfort. In my opinion any shoe without an 2-4 inch heel are comfortable.

Its an amazing place very few if any like it on earth. Glad you are enjoying yourself, your mom seems like she is enjoying as well. If you can catch a glimpse of the moonscape over the mountains in the evening its a beautiful thing to behold.
    Best wishes
