Yes! Vienna, Austria. I will be back! Why? It’s because I absolutely adored the quiet city of Vienna! Buzzing with monumental sculptures and monochromatic buildings. So Yes, Vienna! I’ll be back!

BTW- For those of you who aren’t aware of what I consider to be, an iconic pop culture movie line of “I’ll be back…” Click ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER for video clips to all of Arnold’s, “I’ll be back” movie lines.

Anyways, Arnold just happens to have been born and raised in the country of Austria, but don’t mistake his famousness for my reason for visiting Austria. Vienna was a memorable 3 day get-a-away, tag-a-long vacation. Besides Arnold was born in Thal, which is 91.29 miles away……

Best to stay on the 5th to avoid loud late-nighters from the 7th floors rooftop bar/club.

For anyone who likes a bit of whimsy, modern and hip you may find this place just right for you. Perhaps you’re someone whose a bit clownish or likes clowns? Maybe you have children? Well then, you’d probably enjoy staying at the 25Hours Hotel Vienna. Conveniently located within the museum quartier where all of the Vienna’s grandest museums and more historical sight-seeing are offered.

Feel like biking? Ask to rent one of the hotels cruiser bikes, complete with basket and lock for no additional hotel fees. Just remember, the concierge does not reserve bikes ahead of time. Meaning, the earliest birds get the bikes first.

The food? Please don’t pass up the hotels amazing breakfast buffet. The array of foods in which they offer add 4 star value, while the restaurant’s service ranks an excellent “Danke.” Cappuccino anyone? Let the barista take your order and allow your morning cup allow your mouth the yumminess it deserves to make up for the absent coffee maker in rooms.

We like statues…

Famous paintings by artists, Gustav Klimt, Ferdinand Waldmuller and Egon Scheile make for moving experiences within the beautiful walls of the Belvedere Museum. Maybe you’ll witness a beautiful bride being photographed along the grand staircase as we did. Feeling unlawful? Sneak a picture of your favorite painting despite the strict, “no cameras allowed” rule. When security became pre-occupied with the bride to be, I snuck a photo of Klimt’s, The Kiss. Yes! If you read my Facebook post, you’d know on that day a bucket list item was crossed off. Next? Make your way throughout the museum and bounce on a velvet covered core ball as you gaze up at the dome with figures of Neo-classicism and Romanticism or just laugh at the hilarity of it all. Exercise ball, cherub, bounce and laugh!

The museum exhibits work from the 18th and 19th centuries in which consists mostly of Neo-Impressionism, Post-Impressionism and Symbolism. Although, throughout the museum you’ll see greek antiquities and eclectic modern art.

In case you’re thinking…No, I didn’t go to the museum devoted to Arnold. Yes, one does exist, in Thal.
