Jardin Des Tuileries

The Tuileries Garden opened to the public in 1667. A beautiful landscaped garden full of lush lawns, armchairs surrounded by two ponds, charming cafe’s serving delicious hot chocolates and renaissance statues extending between The Louvre Museum & Concord Square. Situated within the heart of Paris’ 1st arrondissement, this area continues to attract those who enjoy leisurely walks, lounging on one of the many park benches or chairs and exercising along one of the many garden paths.

I discovered a new favourite shop, El Ganso. This Madrid based designer who integrates fun colours with ribbon lining and uniquely sewn placket details. The preppy clothing line plays on nautical and british colour block styles. Just watch how the company manufactures and distributes their clothing line through this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmqmtQU-bjE . I’m wearing their Green Herringbone Wool Blazer with brown suede elbow patches. The cut feels tailored to size and the pop of turquoise matches the laces on my brown oxford shoes. (not shown with blazer) What do you think? Do I pull off this look without looking as though I’m heading towards the race track?Anyway, I’m still enjoying my time in Paris and have many more posts to share with you! In front of St George's Tron Parish Church

These pics were on day 2 in Glasgow, Scotland, where I walked along the popular street of Buchanan lined with plenty of shopping, people watching and curious subway hopping. Captivated by the well-preserved historical buildings, while appreciating the architectural details I always dreamed of living among. I engulfed my self, feeling the live illustrations of Scotland’s cultures. My friend was a gracious host and tour guide with calm patience for my snap-happy-photography. I’ll have more pictures to share as the week progresses, my favourites in Edinburgh are my some of my best abstract captures. Just click on any one of the mosaic pictures for a larger view.
